Sooke and Electoral Area Parks and Recreation Commission (SEAPARC) has replaced the Sooke Skate Park. 

The Sooke Skate Park was built in 1997 by the Rotary Club of Sooke and is currently operated by the CRD’s SEAPARC Recreation Centre. This park has been a much loved and well used recreation asset in the community and was in need of replacement. 

The skate park concept design was completed early in 2025 with input from the community, incorporating as much feedback as possible within the current budget and site topography. Funding approval was finalized in June 2025. 

The project is now complete.
